1. Scope

This policy covers paid purchases of Seeds (the in-game currency used in OG Cards) made through ogs.gg. It does not cover free Seeds received via gameplay rewards, daily energy regeneration, or any other non-paid mechanism.

2. Right of Withdrawal (EU 14-day cooling-off)

Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, you have the right to withdraw from a Seeds purchase within 14 calendar days of the transaction, without giving a reason, provided that:

  • You have not yet spent any of the purchased Seedson a card pull, energy refill, or any other in-game action.
  • The Seeds balance at the time of the withdrawal request is greater than or equal to the amount you wish to refund.

Once Seeds are spent on a pull or other in-game outcome, that portion of the purchase is considered digital content supplied with your express prior consent and the right of withdrawal is lost for the spent portion, per Article 16(m) of the Consumer Rights Directive. This is disclosed at checkout before payment is taken.

3. How to Request a Refund

To withdraw from a Seeds purchase, contact us within 14 days of the original transaction at support@ogs.gg with:

  • The email address used for the purchase.
  • The Stripe receipt number or transaction date.
  • The amount and Seeds pack you wish to refund.

We will respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 14 days of the decision, in line with Article 13 of the Consumer Rights Directive.

4. Excluded Cases

The following are not eligible for refund under this policy:

  • Seeds that have already been spent on a card pull, energy refill, boost activation, or any other in-game action.
  • Cards obtained from pulls. The outcome of a pull is binding once it has been revealed. Drop rates are disclosed in advance at /cards/drop-rates.
  • Purchases made more than 14 calendar days before the refund request.
  • Purchases made via methods other than the official Stripe checkout on ogs.gg. Third-party gifts, top-ups, or off-platform transactions are not refundable through us.

5. Chargebacks

If you have a billing dispute, please contact us first. Initiating a chargeback through your bank without giving us an opportunity to resolve the matter may result in suspension of the associated OG Esports account pending review.

6. Loot-Box Mechanic Disclosure

OG Cards contains chance-based reward mechanics. Drop rates for each rarity, the pity system, and the catalogue composition are disclosed in full at /cards/drop-rates before any paid action. You acknowledge that you have read these disclosures before any Seeds purchase.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via the OG Esports website at least 14 days before they take effect. The version in force at the time of your purchase is the version that governs that purchase.

This is a draft pending legal review by counsel for OG Esports A/S. Final wording, jurisdiction-specific clauses (BE/NL parental consent flow, ES jurisdictional exclusions), and the official refund-request template will be supplied by counsel before launch.
